The GMC team are the cornerstone of our success within the property maintenance industry.

We are all committed to providing exceptional customer service and property maintenance services to all our clients. Clear communication, great service and exceeding our clients’ expectations are at the heart of everything we do. We work hard to build trust with new clients and take great pride in retaining clients for many years. Some of these have worked hand in hand with GMC for over 20 years.

• Owner Denise has worked in the property maintenance market since 1991 and has been with GMC since the business began. In 2003 she was given the opportunity to take over the company, which she grabbed with both hands. In the first few years Denise increased GMC's turnover 4 fold and has not looked back. In 2014 she purchased and refurbished a 2,000ft² office building in Littlehampton for her and the team.
  Denise loves being hands on and gets a buzz from utilising her years of experience and contacts to help clients. Denise makes the most of the time away from her desk, spending valuable time with her family, going to the cinema and playing tennis.

• Geoff became an operational part of the General Maintenance team in 2007. His role involves travelling around the UK to meet contractors and carry out quality control, amongst other things. Prior to joining GMC Geoff's career was in landscape gardening, having run his own landscaping business before marrying Denise. Geoff then took a few years out to raise their daughter before joining GMC.
  Geoff is a very passionate Liverpool FC supporter, loves his Ducati motorbike (according to Denise he spends more time polishing it than riding it!) and his Indian Runner Ducks. Geoff is a keen cyclist who loves taking on cycling charities in the UK and abroad and has through his passion, raised funds for both local and national children’s charities.

• Lin manages the GMC accounts and ensures contractors are paid on time. She is very conscientious in her work, which is essential in her role. As well as being a valued member of the GMC team Lin is also Denise's mum. She enjoys making the most of her home by the sea, being a granny and taking the occasional holiday to sunny climates.

• Joining the team in 2018 Amy came to GMC with a background in retail and customer services. Over the years she has been an Account Manager to several of our clients and helped develop the cleaning departmentt and is now the Office Manager where she assists the team and helps to grow the business.
  She spends her spare time with her two young children, socialising with friends and relaxing with her family.

• Sarah is our Gardening Co Ordinator and has spent years growing the gardening department and services that we now offer our clients and understands the different needs of each contract. She has built good relationships with our gardening contractors over the years spent working at GMC.
  Sarah has a busy family life outside of work spending it with her husband and children.

• Originating from Denmark Line spent over 30 years in London in the marine industry after which she relocated to West Sussex with a career change into property. She worked for an independent estate agents in property sales and commercial management whilst spending a couple of years renovating an old cottage requiring a lot of attention.
  In her spare time, you will find Line hiking the South Downs with her dogs, exploring the area or out on the water.

• Claire relocated to West Sussex from Dorset when her daughter was young and went on to work in sales, events management and various other customer-based jobs. Claire is now an Account Manager for a number of clients and deals with both vacant and tenanted properties.
  When not at work she spends time looking after her young granddaughter, going out with friends and relaxing at home with a film.

• Joining the team in 2025, Marie brought with her the experience and knowledge in property restoration and disaster recovery services along with years of customer service from her previous roles, She is now an Account Manager to several clients here at GMC and has built some great relationships in this time.
  Outside of work Marie spends time with her family, eating out and shopping.

• Following a long career in the property industry, Frances joined the GMC team in 2024 as an Account Manager and now looks after our cleaning department, arranging cleaning for a number of our clients across the UK.
  In her spare time she enjoys playing Pickleball, spending time with friends at the cinema and theatre and watching true crime documentaries.

• Having previously worked for many years in finance and sales roles in local government and manufacturing, Juliet is delighted to have joined the GMC team in 2025 as an Account Manager, building good relationships with clients and contractors alike.
  During down time she enjoys time with her family, exploring the historic houses of the UK and travelling.

• Sienna is GMC Directors Denise and Geoff’s daughter, recently finishing university she now plans to follow in her parent’s footsteps showing a keen interest in learning more about their business and the property maintenance world.
  Sienna has joined the team for a few years to grow her knowledge in the services we provide and assist the team until she plans to go travelling the world in the future.
